LOCATION

Acara House is located north of the city centre on upper St Columbas Road adjacent to main route from Dublin Airport to city centre. Lower Drumcondra Road is an extension of the M1 Motorway. The M1 evolves into the N1 as you approach the city from the airport. From the city centre follow airport signs which will lead you to Lower Drumcondra Road. After passing under the railway bridge take the second turn left into St Aplhonsus Rd. then take the 4th turn left into St Columbas Rd. Lower Dromcundra rd. leads into the N1 and eventually the main Dublin to Belfast (M1) motorway. On approach from north of the city continue on the M1 until you reach the N1 which then leads into Upper Drumcondra Road and then into lower Drumcondra Rd. Acara House is only 10km from Dublin Airport and 1km from city centre. Buses serving Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport are available from outside every 20 minutes. Buses; 16a, 41, 41a, 41b, 41c, 33, 746 directly connect to Dublin airport and stop within 100 metres of Acara House. Taxi cost approximately EUR15 from Airport to Acara House. Bus fare from Airport to Acara House costs EUR1.30 per person. Dublin ferry terminal is approximately 3km away by car or taxi. Taxi cost is approximately EUR7.00. We are happy to arrange Car Hire on request with the car being delivered to the house.

How to Find Us

Coming from the Airport take the M1 towards the city centre. After 6 miles you will see the Drumcondra Railway bridge overhead and Quinns pub on the Right hand side.

Take the 1st road on the right hand side called St. Annes road which is immediately after Quinns pub. Take the 2nd road on the right called St. Patricks road and then take the 1st road on left called St. Patricks Parade where you will find us at the very top of this road.

If you are coming by Bus (25 mins) from the airport take the number 16, 41 or 33 to Drumcondra Railway bridge and get off opposite Quinns pub. Walk up St Alphonsus road and we are located on the 4th road on the left hand side.

From the city centre follow airport signs which will lead you to Lower Drumcondra Road. After passing under the railway bridge take the second turn left into St Alphonsus Road then take the 4th turn left into St Columbas Rd.
